It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but it’s just the start of one of the busiest and most fun times of the year for radio production pros.  Contests, giveaways, promotions, seasonal greetings, topical sweepers, programming features…it can get so busy you’d actually feel relaxed if you were stuck in a crowded shopping mall.  So take a deep breath, relax in the comfort of your studio, and be assured that Splat! has your back.  Here are some samples of what we come up with for occasions like Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  (Lots more to come, and tons of stuff on the Splat! website, too.)

Is That a Wookie Coat On Your Body? Or Are You Just Happy About Star Wars VII?

Is this the hottest new fashion trend?  The Chewbacca coat? It’s a good indicator of the massive anticipation surrounding the release of Star Wars : The Force Awakens.

Radio will be all over the release with tickets, promotions, contests and live events.  Do you have your production game plan?  While the release is still many weeks away, we figured we’d have a little fun with the signature music…a little Jedi mind trick mashup & Darth Dubstep. Enjoy.

The Hits Keep Coming

big hits
big hits

We’re talking about those big hits that rattle your head and keep your ears ringing, sending a buzz through your whole body.

Whether it’s on the radio or on the field, hits are what it’s all about.  Dig those great songs that you crank up and want to rock again and again because the chorus is so amazing. Or the cringe worthy hits on the field, the kind that you play back repeatedly because you can’t believe somebody got up and bounced back to the huddle afterward.

But sports and music don’t have to be on two separate radio stations, we’ve brought them together in some fun, high-energy imaging elements.  Check the Splat! samples below.
